Security

Project information stays with the people responsible for it.

timecue is built for teams handling live project work. Access, roles and private project material are organised around the company and the people doing the work.

Clear boundaries for everyday project work.

Signing in

Everyone works from their own account.

Protected areas are for signed-in members. Account actions are deliberate and easy to follow, and recovery or invitation links are never open-ended ways in.

  • 01

    Your own account

Each person uses their own account when working in timecue, so the work they record carries their name.

  • 02

    Invitations for one person

An invitation is tied to one email address and expires after 14 days. Only owners can change a role or remove someone, and that person loses access straight away.

  • 03

    Password resets

Password resets are handled through a dedicated account flow, so getting back in stays simple.

Roles

The same project, with the right access.

Access follows responsibility. The people planning, managing and completing the work each see what they need for their part of it.

  1. 01
    Assigned tasks

    Worker

Sees assigned tasks and records worklogs.

  2. 02
    Projects and people

    Manager

Manages people, projects, tasks and worklogs.

  3. 03
    The whole company

    Owner

Manages the company and everything in its projects.

Project records

The project record stays with the company.

Projects, people and the history of work stay connected to the organisation and to the people responsible for them.

  • 01

    Separate companies

Project information is organised by company, so each team works within the context that belongs to it.

  • 02

    Project history

Return to earlier work and updates when the project moves on. When someone leaves, mark them inactive: they can no longer log time, and their past worklogs stay in the history.

  • 03

    Private project files

Project material is treated as a private resource, available to people with the right access.

  • 04

    Exports with access

Owners and managers export worklogs when reporting needs them. Each person sees only their own export history.

Security review

Bring your requirements before the pilot begins.

Every construction company works with different project material and approval routines. Before onboarding, we go through the information your team will use and the checks your review requires.

What we go through together

  1. 01 Who needs access to which project information
  2. 02 What files and exports your team plans to share
  3. 03 How invitations and account recovery should work
  4. 04 Who can invite people, change roles and remove access
  5. 05 Any procurement or internal review questions

This page covers the controls your team uses day to day. Deeper technical questions are answered in a controlled review with your team, not published here.
